D2 remote locking Horn goes toot

over the last couple of days I had occasions that when looking the D2 with the fob the horn would give one toot. Normally that means a door is not closed properly or possibly the bonnet is not shut.
So I had to lock it by key.
The next morning the problem disappeared and all was sweet.
This afternoon it again happened and this time gave a toot when I used the key to lock it. All doors are closed, I even slammed them a bit to make sure.
The switches appear to be ok.
    Any one else struck this?
    cheers, Mario

Yep. Mine was the bonnet switch. This too was intermittent. On the inside of the bonnet where the switch would make contact, there is an anti tamper shield. I removed it, and re attached it with a 10mm spacer behind it so the bonnet switch was pushed down further. That solved my problems.

    Regards
    Will.

X2. The bracket the switch is fitted to also bends quite easily, should be vertical just flex back into position.

Bonnet switch is a common cause of this, if all other door switches are working OK, I would say it is the bonnet switch

SiddersC, Clubagreenie, Spot on, it was the bonnet switch frame, I must have knocked it off centre whilst leaning into the engine bay, I just pushed it back and all ok again.
    Thanks
    Mario
