Pro vent.
I have a pro vent on my TD5 Disco, and about five months ago removed the rocker cover and cleaned the injector connections. Replaced the cover and oil promptly leaked out. Refitted and oil blow out and almost emptied the sump.
Changed Pro vent filter re fitted gasket with sealent and all fine up till now.
Last week it started leaking again at rear of engine.
I have a new gasket to fit this time( the old one was about three years old)
But I'm wondering if anyone has had the same problem and could the Pro vent be at the core. I'm thinking I might need to remove the foam filter from the rocker cover. Does anyone have thoughts on this ?
Thanks.

I thought that there might be excessive blow by pressure under the rocker cover. But I now see that the Provent has a relief valve in its top cover. So any pressure build up would escape. A New rocker cover gasket has fixed an oil leak at the rear.

And it only took you a few hours to diagnose and fix it without any help!

If only. Still got leak from the rear main seal by the looks of it.
Reading the rave, gearbox and sump plus flywheel have to come off. Quote of around $2000.
