Dare say you could easily adapt a Toyota spare wheel winch to fit. 45 , 60, 80 series or Hilux will all do the job

As suggested, wait for one to comeup, adapt a tojo bit or reface it if you have the equipment.

I have two surplus Toyota ones in my garage......should be able to pick one up from a wrecker, it might need a bit of work grafting it into the 119

Thanks guys - I'd definitely prefer the original item but it looks like it may be difficult. Trebor110 thanks for the lead - unfortunately that's gone now - wish I knew earlier - would have been all over it.

Thanks for the part numbers Dave, definitely might come in handy during the hunt. I'll just keep the spare in the back for a while hoping for a bit of luck with the hanger and if all else fails I'll pick up a yota hoist and try to make it fit!

In the meantime if anyone wants to get rid of their spare wheel hoist/ hanger let me know!

A few years back these weren't readily available.

I used a Toyota one. It bolts to the chassis exactly the same. The wheel end needed minor modification as the Toyota wheel center is different. You will also need to attach the winding shaft.
