    Evidence RRC and Disco Same

RRC and Disco Chassis are the same and interchangeable as I understand it except for (and some may other fine detail) early RRC had one rear facing shock mount and Discos have a tube cross member in front of the A frame and no load leveler mounts

    I am chasing either
    (1) a definitive source that the chassis are interchangeable (a source I can refer to and refer others to and quote) and/or
    (2) official chassis drawings with dimensions that show the equivalence or
    (3) both these

Note I have searched and found the chassis jig dimensions for Disco and RRC but these drawings use a lot of different reference points so not immediately comparable and thus not clear that the same

    Thanks

AFAIK the disco never received a boge load leveller. Rangies had these at least until the end of the 80's.
Once the load leveller was removed, the chassis moved from a pressed section cross-member under the rear floor which the leveller could bolt to, to a round tube cross member.

Your best chance for "no surprises" would be comparing disco and RRC of the same year.
