Thread: Bonnet Latch Cable Improvement.

Early bonnets with the exposed hinges don't have spring assisted lift like the later ones, making them seem heavier. My '79 bonnet has no difficulty opening up when I pull the cable but I've met a couple where I needed to bang the side of the bonnet with the other hand to get it to lift. Alignment of the locking pin is critical I think.
