    Slow to select reverse

In the mornings my auto box will sometimes take up to twenty seconds before it transmits drive (only in reverse). I can come up with several reasons why this is happening. However before I make a noise about it to the dealer. Does anyone else suffer this ? Is it normal (for this model..... as every other car I've had in the past this would have indicated a problem.)

    What car do you drive?

Irrespective of the car, this is a problem. The most likely cause is low ATF level. If the ATF is full then there is a much worse problem that would require dis-assembly of the transmission. Best done by the experts.

Thanks Mahn. Just unfortunate I did not find this place sooner. But I have not had a lot of internet time of late due to work and study. Anyway, it is great to be here.
