I really feel like as threw a grenade into Trafalgar Square (why waste time with a cat) . I think it created some healthy debate.

I'll keep the fuel cooler "diesel heater" there for the time being.

I see the merits of regulated fuel temperatures and with a desire to do a snowfields trip sometime it might come in handy one cold morning.

I live in a very hot weather and took the fuel cooler out, changed it for a oil pass piece after spending lots of money in 4!!!!!!!! fuel coolers in 1 and a half year... was checking temp after the change and it was perfect, no change at all... so cooler? it doesn't cool anything, maybe it'´s a heater, but not a cooler

It's a temperature stabiliser rather than a cooler/heater.

Fuel temp in hard running can get very high without it, and in cold climates can run too cold for efficient burn.
