    Keyless entry

Does anyone know if discos with central locking can be adapted to keyless entry. Im looking at a 97 tdi that has central locking off the drivers door keylock but ive been spoilt and I would love to get keyless fitted.
    cheers

You will find that it just needs the remote.

If this is a Disco you are looking to buy then ask for one to be put into the deal for you before you sign.

Cost around $70 depending on your dealer.

So my understanding is that all central locking discos are keyless ready and you just need the remote to activate it. Does the remote have to be coded for the individual vehicle, if so how?

Yes it just needs to be coded, your local LR agent will do it for you.
