Fixing small rust holes

Found a few small (10c piece) holes in the floor of my Rangie when cleaning it out. Its right at the back, on the floor, near the fuel filler. Someone had glued a piece of rubber there, which trapped moisture ... and rust resulted.

I can clean up the area and rustproof it, but how to fill the holes? Bog?

you could cut it out then weld a small plate in and then rust proof it

I fixed a few rust holes by cutting the rust out. Treating with rust converter solution. Then covered them with a sheet of thin aluminium which was sealed with Sikaflex, then pop rivetted and then finally sealed with sound deadening paint on both sides. The underbody sound deadener did pong for a week or so till it completely cured. It was an unpleasant tarry turpentine smell on hot days.
I treated the entire passenger compartment floor space and transmission tunnel though
