Well after all my issues with trying to sort out the fuel stalling issues(fuel stop solenoid) I realized I have neglected the old girl. I think it's time to pull the engine out I need to fix the P gasket as it's just started to leak, my clutch chatters more than wife, and she's leaking oil looks like it's around the head gasket but I would assume its from the exhaust gasket.

My questions is it's a 300tdi with 400000kms + on the clock(defender 130) I have never had the head off in my time but thinking I'll pull it off maybe swap for a high performance one from turners?, rings?, bottom end? She seams a bit down on power and uses a bit of oil apart from the drips. Cooling system is in top shape apart from p gasket leak.

Anything else you guys would recommend I don't really have time for a full rebuild as I need it for work just want to give her a new lease on life (freshen up). Hoping to be a weekend maybe couple week days instead of weeks.
