Thread: Air con hose blew off

I have been in Tamworth last few days and traveling down bridge st when bang and a cloud of fumes from under bonnet, the short hose that joins the steel pipes from the compressor to the condenser has come off, going to be a hot trip back to brissy on Thursday.

Will remove pipes and see if pirtek can crimp a new hose on hopefully this will work then get it re gassed and oil added. Has this happened to anyone else?

Maybe check if the electric fan on the condenser/rad is working correctly as high head pressures may have caused the issue.
