Just a quick question? Did any body try the PC version of Itunes and if so how did you find it for handling your MP3 conversions?

yep, used Itunes for a couple of months now - GREAT.

I use only MP3 as I used on my PC and PDA - find the quality good.

Guess the other thing is if you have a new RR, does it have the built in DVD?? If so, it should play MP3 Cd's... but i doubt that your current radio would have an auxilary plug.

I picked up a $40 cassette/radio from Autobarn which had the aux plug on it to put in my S3... figured that it could be easily stolen with the rag top so why fork out more... then i plug in a Portable MP3 CD player.

But am also about to buy a incar DVD player with 7" Monitor from Dick Smith to install in my 86 Rangy. The can use that for the MP3's

Oh, BTW, love the chat about Apple's programs 8) not often you see a non-computer related thread turn into a pat on the back for Apple Keep it up!!!

    MP3's

Hi, just thought i'd add my 2cents: I use Audiograbber to rip my CD's to MP3's. Audiograbber is now freeware: excellent piece of software!

I replaced the LR tape deck with a Fuji-10 MP3 player, which works pretty well (I bought it because it allegedly has better shock protection, which should perform better when drinving on the rough stuff. funnily enough the few times it has skipped has been on the seal........)

I use Itunes with my Ipod (on a PC desktop), which is quite nice. haven't explored the non-player features of Itunes though.
