Google showed a number of places with these advertised....
You might have to buy them online, but doesn't seem to be a problem.

My nearest official Land Rover dealer does not even have parts books for earlier models. One of their counter hands told (whispered) me the their policy is not to service vehicles that predated their franchise.

this is just one of those things...

depending on who you get on the phone apparently the Series 2 landrover never came with a 4 or 6 cylinder petrol engine...

"Im sorry sir the series II discovery was only available with a v8 or a diesel"

"thats fine can you find me the engine details for a 1968 discovery II then?"

"Im sorry sir, the discovery II has only been in production since 1999"

"In a Landrover the other vehicle is your crumple zone."

For spelling call Rogets, for mechanicing call me.
