    3.9l v8 lifters

    Hi guys, is there somebody that can explain the operation of the disco1 v8 lifters. Also, if you have any images of the actual components inside this specific lifters that would be a greatly appreciated.

    PS: just out of curiosity sake, could faulty cam followers casue intermittent misfires?

    Just google Hydraulic lifters and you will see more than you ever wanted to know.
    There is nothing special about D1 Hydraulic lifters, and they are the same lifter as fitted to many GM cars.
