If you did it yourself the cost of a CV which varies from about $80 to about $150 or so on Ebay plus new seals if you are wise.
IMHO it would be about 2 hours to 4 hours labour at whatever you pay,say at $100 per hour $200 to $400.
It could be an axle of course which would cost about the same.
You can only find out more accurately by asking a specialist near you.

You need to open it up and see what is damaged. Plan to replace the hub and swivel seals as a minimum. Download a genuine workshop manual and dig into it. It is a good learning experience

Also... With Maxi-Drives, it probably won't have stock CV joints. You need to open it up and see what is in there. It has most likely been converted to the early 110 CV joints.
