    Hello,
    If you had the same boost box as I did. It uses a slow bleed of volts to earth, all the time !!! so maybe your MAP sensor is faulty, Now you have removed the box the engine has the normal voltage on the sensor wire. I could be wrong I brought one it never worked.

    I wouldn't be surprised if the ECU crossed checked the MAF values with the MAP and RPM. You can calculate one from the other two. If they don't line up maybe the ECU backs off the performance to protect the engine

    It definitely drives better without the Boost Box throughout the entire rev range , although i still get an overboost fault if i push it. I have not hat time to remove the inlet manifold yet but i am hoping that is all clogged up and a good clean will have it running sweet.
    I don't know a lot about the workings of the boost box but what i thought was that it was a vital part of the vnt conversion and now i find it stuffs the whole thing up!!
    With a bit of luck i can get the VNT system working properly soon.
