    Track rod

    Bent it. Need a stronger replacement for my '03 110 in Melbourne. Any recommendations please?

    or grab a length of angle iron about the same diameter as the bar
    and just weld it on
    you'll be amazed at the added strength

    or if you want i can get a price for a heavy duty bar same as mine

    I dont think welding on angle iron is a preffered method (legal)

    not sure about other states but in NSW any welding carried out on steering components has to be X-rayed and certified to qualify as legal.

    Better off forking out the extra brass and get the right one from the start.

    Not worth all the crap of litigation these days just to save a few dollars.

    There was a company selling these uprated track rods & drag links (other than Maxdrive), that was mentioned in an earlier post. I can't find it in a search but from memory it was in WA. I do recall that the price was pretty good.

    Anyone remember who it was?
