    Door Locks

Am having trouble with the locking mechanisms of my Disco 1,on 1 door the button doesn't come fully up and on the rear door when you open the door it relocks. Does anyone know where I can find an exploded diagram of the locking mechanisms? Any suggestions much appreciated.

Rambo, have you had any water in or around your passenger side kick panel as that is where the control module is for the door’s central locking, on your model.
From the description of the problems you are having, may be a faulty control module.
Try removing the kick panel then unplug the control module and inspect it for water and/or corroded tracks.
If it is just wet, clean it under running water with a tooth brush and leave it in the sun for a day or so, until you know it is bone dry.
Reinstall it and cover it with a plastic bag.
    Just a suggestion.
    Regards.

I have a set of workshop manuals for the disco, but I am not back till monday next week.
Will scan it in for you then if you still need it.

It could be the actual locking mech, try disconnecting the central locking mechanism from the door lock and using the key. If it doesn't work unfortunately you have to replace the whole lock, as there is usually a little spring that breaks in the lock, which can't be replaced... not cheap either, I have just replaced 3 of them in my disco, all doors I don't use that often too !!
