    Surging Diesel Disco

No, its not a song or a new dance craze.
My uncle has a Manual 2000 Diesel Disco and has a problem with it surging under acceleration. At any speed above 80km if he puts his foot down it stutters/starves and surges for a couple of seconds. The problem first appeared 12months ago, the car has been back to the dealers a couple of times to no avail. The problem is present with cruise control activated or deactivated.
The fuel filter at the rear of the vehicle has been changed with no noticible improvement in the problem.
Can anyone shed any light on the problem and offer a solution? Have we missed a filter that may be hidden in another place? Or is this perhaps an electrical fault?
    Cheers Tyrepower

get your injectors checked out could be that the fuel flow is not adequate when the boot goes down but is ok otherwise

    have fun

All I know is that the Td5 was designed to avoid this.

But I haven't had this problem with the 300Tdi.
