    New motor

    Hi we own a disco 1 turbo diesels 1995 model we have just been informed we need a new motor put in is there any one by any chance selling one

    What's wrong with the one you have must be petty dire for replacement

    When the car starts to get to hot it spits water out of the over flow container we had it in at mechanics and it's came back today drive my son to footy 20min drive it started to spit the water out again after we just paid to have the head gasket replaced the mechanic told us we need a new motor
    I'm in oakhurst nsw 2761

    Most likely the head IDE take it to somewhere that's familiar with landys

    Unless they fitted a new head when they did the gasket it was only a matter of time before it died again.
    Highly unlikely that you require a full motor, just cracked the head on my TDI @320K and the bottom end is still excellent.

    I would be very wary of were you take it to get repaired otherwise you may get ripped off even if the guy only works on landys

    Local repairer here in newcastle wanted 12 grand tow in drive out full motor reco I got it done for 6.5K and I sourced the parts from the UK
