    hazard a guess at this leak

    Engine: HS2.8Tgv similar to 300Tdi. Picture taken at front left side of engine. Oily substance but is not as runny as it looks, not much comes off the block when wiped with a cotton bud.

    any idea what is leaking?

    Im not sure it is coolant. My Level stays pretty darn good. I had a weaping hose and the residue was and is just to the right of the oily stuff in thepic. Notice the white stuff on the block, Collant will dry out on a hot block.

    P-Gasket It is greenish so coolant

    Or maybe oil mixing with coolant as it seeps from the housing bolt that goes into the gallery?
