Hi Iadas, you can also remove other switches and you will find that althou they don't use both lights in some of the switches, they usually still have both the green and the orange fitted.

My 1999 LR Discovery had several switches where the 'backlight' globes had failed - trying to get them was hard enough - then the quoted price of over AU$13 was a bit rich.
On inspection of the very small globe and holder (orange or green) I then went to my local electronics store - bought the globes for AU$2.50 each and swapped them over - it's a bit fiddly but well worth the savings

Had a similar problem on mine. On close inspection I found the green ones were actually normal globes with a green condom. I just purchased some normal clear globes and swapped he condoms over.
I found that also changing the cover works. On the ones that didnt have the cover I coloured them in with OHP / Map marking pens
