My 1999 LR Discovery had several switches where the 'backlight' globes had failed - trying to get them was hard enough - then the quoted price of over AU$13 was a bit rich.
On inspection of the very small globe and holder (orange or green) I then went to my local electronics store - bought the globes for AU$2.50 each and swapped them over - it's a bit fiddly but well worth the savings

SupporterHad a similar problem on mine. On close inspection I found the green ones were actually normal globes with a green condom. I just purchased some normal clear globes and swapped he condoms over.

SupporterI found that also changing the cover works. On the ones that didnt have the cover I coloured them in with OHP / Map marking pens
