All right for all you limp wristed girls:p .Drop the disc off set it up on a rotary table and mill a series of slots with a slot drill around the perimeter fabricate a decent holder with a sprung cable operated pawl .May be fiddly to disengage but will not budge;)

just some feedback as I recently had this installed. Comes out of the box defective with the break pad not properly attached and this is rattling quite annoyingly. As I had this done together with new gear box and clutch it took quite a bit of trouble shooting finding the culprit. I purchased from Paddocks and neither them nor XEngineering bother to reply to emails.
But more research revealed break pad
needs to be siliconed to back plate to prevent the rattle.
Why I have to do this to a newly purchased product is beyond me. Something new you pay money for should work without such hassle.
if you purchase this save yourself some hassle and glue it before installing.

Mines been rattling away for a year. Been going to pull it out and fix it up, but have not got around to it yet
The instructions from x-eng say to silicone the brake pad in. Mine doesn't rattle.

Mine rattled until I followed the instructions and siliconed the pads in, no rattle.
My only problem was the clearance to the cross member - there was about 2mm and on rough roads it would hit it. X-eng were helpful at first, then realised they would have to change their design, not something they were keen on so they suggested I grind the cross member as their design was for the older models.
Hm seriously considering getting back to my drum. The rattle is fixed but it does not hold remotely as well as my drum. On my reasonably steep drive way I used my drum HB normally with moderate force without issues. The disk HB I have to tighten as hard as I can to the absolutely last notch otherwise car will move. Should have followed don't fix if it ain't broken. Had Defender parked on Hern spur held by drum hand break and really could not fault my drum.
