Yep put one on the RRC about 2 years ago when I put in a GQ box. Smaller and neater than the drum but overall I don't think it's that much better than the standard set up

Has anyone investigated this
X Brakes for Land Rover Discovery & Range Rover Classic
Is it smaller than the drum?
Looking to increase clearance under handbrake behind an LT230 or protect it from getting snagged offroad, i have broken both tranny mounts by landing on the Drum Handbrake in my 89 Range Rover Classic and looking into options to stop it happening again.
What have other people done?

Quote from link:
"Land Rover LT 230 Upgrade / Shorter rear
Rakeway manufactured

Simple bolt on fitting
Reduces output length by 70mm allowing better propshaft angles
Heavy duty shaft and flange
Version for lightweight Rakeway handbrake calliper and disc
Version for X-Eng handbrake calliper and disc."
This to me says both companys make it?
