    Defender soundproofing

I thought you guys might like to know what i have done to my D/cab 130. When i was walking through super cheap i saw some sound deadening paint, (and a spray) so i thought it might be worth a try.
I have painted it behind the rear seats and under the floor mats and it has cut the noise by about 40%. One day i would like to do the fire wall and roof, that would be great.

Don't know exactly the empty tin is in the bin. It had Sound Deadener in big letters on it.

Yeah "SuperWorks sound deadner"...... it's their sort of take on the brand name stuff. Like "homebrand" is to Woolworths.

Most of their stuff is okay, usually though I've only bothered with them for normal things like filters as they normally come in under the others on cost and filters are filters to me.

Why does she talk out of her arse ? (Oh, hang on....)

Seriously, did you paint it on the inside or outside of the panels.
Is it like a normal paint finish or does it end up all sticky and tar-like and likely to melt on a hot day ?
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

I painted it on the inside... it ends up dry and hard thick like tar but not sticky, it will need to be very hot for it to melt.
