    AC15 Alternator

I want to replace my Lucas AC15 alternator with 4TR control box with an AC15 alternator(made in australia) with internal regulator. I believe I've got to connect the +terminal of the alternator to the +side of the battery, the Ind. terminal to the ignition light. But the alternator also has an Aux. terminal. Does that has to be connected to anything? It's a 2.25 petrol engine. Thank you. .W.

Don't worry about the Aux connection, it is a voltage outlet like the battery outlet except it is not isolated from the battery via an isolating diode.

I took this from a web site "Auxiliary output for external control gear or split charge relays etc."
