I've just bought a Snorkle after going thru all the drama's of working out which one was right.
Do i make one or buy one??
It came down to Time and $$$
To make one was about $200 with a new head and Stainless or Alloy, cheaper if exhaust used. But i worked out that time was the killer.
It would kill a day just to design it right, then the running around getting it made and sourcing bits. for the sake of an extra $150-$200 i'll buy one.
I wanted a Safari but they are just a tad to much
Mantec Expensive
Airtec Pricey
Safari, Good and pricey
Airflow. Cheap and good.
So i bought the Airflow at a fantastic price. $300 from Duncans in Melbourne
Time to get the Hole saw and Tin Snips out..... Ahh more body cutting...
Regards
Steve

					Hi all again,
Well i've installed the new Snorkle. I did my research and found that the AirFlow brand was the best value.
Here is the info.
I bought it from Duncans 4WD in Melbourne. i got it for $300
Installed it today with no real headaches. Template was close but not perfect.
Fitment was as good as most others. Not perfect but good.
I'll post pix in the gallery and then you can see it.
Regards
Steve
