    Lucas 8DA 33406E 0887 12v 15Secs Red Relay

I'm half way through a complete re-wire of the vehicle after a thorough inspection of the main harness revealed severe rot and hoon-induced birds nests.

I'm completely stumped as to the relay mentioned in the title. I can't seem to find the right saddle for it, I'm almost certain the one I've got is right but I can't seem to make things work properly in theory, so I'm not going to apply practice to it. This timer relay after all seems to be rare and no longer produced.

I believe it is linked to the instrument binnacle to run the warning lights for 15 seconds or until an engine start is attempted.

The RAVE mentions a warning lamp test circuit, but it's not part of my Rangey for some reason, hence I believe this relay is a stand-in for it.

The relay in question is the red one, normally seated under the dashboard above the drivers legs. (Please note I'm not talking about the red, relay-looking, diode pack in front of the ECU)

The question is, can someone please take a photo of theirs, or write me up a quick and dirty on how to wire it up? - All I need to know is what colour wire and tracer go where

    Further info:
*The relay is marked with the following: Lucas 8DA 33406E 0887 12v 15Secs
*The terminals on the base of the relay are marked 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 instead of the normal 87, 30, etc etc.
*I believe the saddle I have located for it is the right one, but I'm not sure, there's two white (red tracer) wires bound together at the terminal in the centre, this I believe ties into the starter circuit, which makes sense, but I can't be certain.
*Forgot to mention, the vehicle is a 1987 Range Rover Classic
*The circuit could also be called a "bulb check circuit"

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I don't recall the circuit ever working, it'd be a huge bonus if I could at least get it operational.

Never mind, I found it to be the interior lamp delay relay and after dissecting it, the reason it wasn't working was because of a blown capacitor.

Picking up a new cap from JayCar tomorrow morning and it will be resurrected.
