Hello Everyone,

I own a Discovery 1 (1999) 3.9 V8, and am currently having overheating issues after deriving for around 20 minutes with it, there is also a gurgling noise coming from around the heater matrix area, sounds like air in the system.
Recently all the power steering and engine oil coolers pipes have been replaced.
I have had a chemical test done on the engine, pressure tested the radiator which both tests passed as good.
I was informed to maybe replace the radiator and the thermostat, which i have ordered the parts to start doing the replacement.
I ordered a new alloy radiator instead of the older designed copper ones. Has anyone bought one of these alloy radiators at all and how have they performed?, just hope i have bought the right product. the radiator i bought can be viewed at Landrover Discovery Series 1 Range Rover 86 94 Radiator | eBay

I was also wondering if maybe i should replace the viscous clutch at the same time, but don't want to through money away on parts that don't need replacing.

Any experiences or helpful info would be great.
