    Steering wheel replacement

    Hi All

    I have a 2002 Defender Extreme and I am thinking of replacing the standard steering wheel. I find it too thin and also looking for something a bit smaller in diameter which will give me somse more elbow room, especially on window side.

    I am thinking about saving up for a Momo. Has anyone changed out there standard wheel and do they know whether there is a boss kit available.

    Momo = $$$$$

    They are seriously expensive.

    There are other options worth looking at SASS and i think Autotechnica.

    Try all your Repco / Autobarn stores.

    Both of these brands make Rover boss kits - approx $60 - $80 for a boss when i was looking at them, then amprox $100 for a plainish wheel and upto $300 - $400 for a MOMO 8O

    I was think of a similar excercise, but was hoping to get a Momo from a wrecked car.

    I have a Subaru with a VERY nice momo, maybe try the Jap import wreckers.

    Then just buy the Rover boss kit.
