Lights mounted on the roof of a D3

    Gents

I posted this in the D3 section but thought I might also try the Tech Forum just in case...

I have just acquired a 288Watt LED light bar for my Disco 3... at approx 43" from mount to mount it is too long for the bull bar so i am looking to mount it on the roof.

My question is, what is the easiest way from the roof to under the bonnet on a D3 without putting extra holes in the panel work? I was thinking about running it down the "A" pillar behind the black cover (if I can work out how to get it off) but it only takes me behind the front guard and I can't see anyway from there into the engine bay.

Any suggestions or routes others have used would be most welcome...

The most common way seems to go through the tailgate which means more cable and work. See the link for running cable to a roof mounted aerial

I believe I have read on here that some people run the wires through there snorkel if they have one.
