From what i've heard, michelins aren't a bad tyre, but a bit on the expensive side.
I know a few people that have the 694 and are very happy with their performance. By the percentages you mentioned it would be a good choice.
Can anyone suggest good tyres to replace my standard 205’s fitted on our RR Classic 16in alloys? Intended use includes 80% shopping cart, 10-15% beach fun and 5-10% mud/rock fun.
I read somewhere that the 235/70R16 has the same rolling radius as the original 205’s so performance issues are not a problem.
Options so far include - Bridgestone Dueller A/T D694 or Michelin Synchrone but someone suggested Michelins are not good value for money?
Any comments from experienced users welcome.

You can use this link to calculate the diameter differences:

It's mainly for cars, so you can't use it for the really big stuff :? .
Michelins have a good reputation for long life on the road but a good road tyre is always a compromise off road.
I run the Michelin RadialX 4x4 in the 235/70 size on my RR - very nice on the road. I've used them for a bit of rocky work but the tread gets knocked around a bit.
