    D2 td5 viscous fan replacement

I have heard that a ford viscous fan will screw straight onto the td5 boss.

searching tech only gives me conflicting answers.

can someone tell me ....yes or no.....can a ford viscous fan screw straight onto a td5 boss?

apparently it's about a quarter of the cost if it does.

the TD5 viscous hub/fan is a complete unit meaning the blades do not unbolt from the viscous hub.
It is much bigger compared to the v8 fan, so if you were to fit a ford viscous hub to a V8 fan you would be running a much smaller fan unit

I don't want to change anything over, just want to unscrew the td5 assembly and screw the ford assembly in it's place.

    no changing hubs or fans
