    Hi Hiline
If you think the condensation was possibly the cause, chances are the shorting has stuffed the flasher unit, cheaper than replacing the indicator switch only to find the problem is still there.

Electronic flasher is a good choice if you can fit one. Lot more durable than the standard setup and tolerate the added lighting load of the trailer better.

Never know when you're being serious and when you're not. :?

Don't get a blown fuse for a start if something goes wrong which makes diagnosics easier is where I was going with that comment.

    Please more....

My indicators have started playing up. Blowing fuses daily with the new flash can squealing on the right hand indication and no blink then the fuse blows.

I'll start with disconnecting the trailer loom and see how it goes but this can only be a process of elmination and not science.

    g'day one_iota

it turns out that the power to the indicators comes out of the fuse box
then into the hazard switch then straight out again and up to the indicator switch................. LR

so if disconnected the hazard switch

but know when i left indicate the trailer light comes on .........
so todays job is to replace the plug
we think its full of mud and crap so hoping thats it
never know with a landy............. 8O
