G day Eddie, ok here go's nothing!
This is how I do it, not saying it's the right way.
1: you have a image stored on your I pad
2: open a new post or hit reply to an existing post
3: select the icon that looks a bit like an exclamation mark ( beside the smiley face ) this should open the attachments section.
4: select " add image , then existing, this should take you to your image folder on your I pad. Select the image you want, this will take a while to load. When loaded you will see the JPEG image symbol, look for "close this page".
5: you should now be back at the new post/ reply that you are posting
6: select the small down arrow next to the attachment icon that you used before. You should see the icon for the image you just uploaded. Select this and you will see the attachment added to your message.
7: add what ever message you want then hit " post "
8: this should load your message with the selected image at the beginning of your message, it will be smallish but if you or any one else taps the image it will open in a second page full size.

Hope this helps mate it's sounds convoluted but once you get it it's not to hard

And, if you want to post the pic full size, click on it, copy the web address, then back in your post, click the 'image' button - the little yellow one with a pic of a mountain on it - then paste the address in there.
