Are you sure it's not the return lines from the injectors? They are known to leak and can be replaced with rubber hose that just pushes on. Hopefully that's it, because total fix is a few dollars and 10 minutes if you're slow.
On the way up to Avoca on friday i noticed when i stopped for fuel that i had a small diesel leak, first thought it was the lift pump but its coming down from the head and possibly from injector lines.
I didnt notice any copper crush washers when i re fitted the piping but do have some odd stepped looking washers left over in my gasket set ?

clean and check the injector lines. They have a tendency to have a hissy fit if you remove them and wont seal again. Buggered if I know why as I can never see any scours on the sealing faces, but I have had to replace 2 of mine when I did a pump overhaul. They just would not reseal!Lucky the lines are not real exxy
Cheers Scott
