    I'm not so much worried about lack of one, more interested in having one. Handy to see what revs the car is doing when.

    Why? Listen to the engine (easy in a Landy) and feel how it's going.

    As I said, I'm interested in seeing what revs its doing in given situations, rather than actually needing it to drive with.
