Be a nice touch having a 327 in a landy but I think you'd need o/d
Perhaps another terrorist in the making to help rattle the overinflated confidence of the scoobs driver.... that is providing you don't break the gearbox in the process.

Be an interesting beast alright HS, i've never been able to find a suitable home for it and i'm buggered if i'll sell it! Maybe one of those local LR's you mentioned might need a little help? I think i'll have enough work gettin the old dog back into shape! It's going to stay stock though, that'll be expensive enough.

Hi Bill
I dont think they have a website.
There ph no is Seatons Engineers WA 08 94096935.
They do all sorts of 4WD conversions,my 202 in the Ser3 van is a Seatons conversion.
What is the address where you have found my Landy? Just curious as a few people said they were going to put pics on their site but I have never seen any, except on a WA site that shifted and I lost the address.

Typically now that i'm seriously searching for that website again i can't find it :? think it may have been in the series 123 shed. i'll keep an eye out and let you know when i see it again. It showed a standard mustard (?) yellow colour 109 ute with the front clip removed, and a 302 clevo in position. Didn't looked like you'd lifted it yet (but i'm no expert on that sorta stuff) and a bit of a blurb about the gearbox conversion, thats you int it? Anyway, i'm no big expert on the internet stuff but i'm always surfin for LR series info, i'll spot it again.

overheating six cylinder
Hi OldDog
Yes the LR six does have a temp problem in the rear most cylinders, particularly in hot climates, check and flush the radiator (if quite dirty do a tank off rod clean ) check fan , remove and check thermostat by placing in a saucepan of water and bring to the boil it should open between 72-82* C it's a standard type waxstat and should be available. Set the Exh Tappets at .010(Book Setting) I recommend .011-.012 better open than burnt
A good source of Six Cylinder parts at a reasonable price is Four Wheel Drives in Melbourne (03)9890 0500 or www.fwd.com.au They go to all the Ex-Army auctions and have a very large stock of series 3 six cylinder spares they used to do a catalogue (last one I have is No31) they will freight anywhere incl O/S the phone contact in spares I had was Steve
