All -- my problem is now fixed and thought I would let you know what the outcome was.

I had a chat with Bruce Davis who had remapped my ECU. The problem was that when putting my foot down, it was over boosting which upset the ECU and it was going into a partial limp mode. Hence the dramtic reduction in power. The limp mode would remain until the engine was turned off and the ECU reset itself.

A quick re-tuning (reducing the boost) and all is now happy again.

Thanks again for all your comments and suggestions.

    Regards

    overboosting?? sounds like fun.
when an ecu goes into limp mode doesnt it run the engine richer to be safe?

overboosting + running richer = more fun
