Rear seating options for 90

Hi all - any ideas for seating options for a D90? I know the county version in the UK comes with full 6 seating. just wondering if any 90 owners have explored options....

I'm just starting to look for some rear seating for my 90. The dealer told me (not always correct!) that you could only have the inward facing seats complianced to 35kg a seat (even though 75series cruisers have them?!). BLRS (www.blrs.co.uk) have some forward facing rear fold down seats that I'm looking at, but need to talk to an engineer first to see if they would pass compliance. If not maybe a rear seat out of a Wangler?!

I have seen some defenders with inwards facing seats for four in the back like the troopie has, but I don't know who or when they were fitted, but I have seen them being fitted to a new vehicle by my mechanic who does some work for the local LR dealer.

Have a look at the following link

http://www.exmoortrim.co.uk/extra%20seats.htm

These are in the UK and do not look to be very cheap, but they might have someone locally. Hope it helps.

Regards

apparently the 110's come with inward facing rear seats which are removed in australia due to adr rules regarding seatbelts. (or so
ive been told)...may explain the new rivets behind rear doors which are not colour matched.

earlier 110's and county's may have some fitted before the laws were passed.

the only rear seats that can be legally fitted must face forward
and have seatbelts and an engineers certificate.

Expat has some rear seats in his D90 - think they were arranged through the dealer.

Stupid thing is, all D90's come into AU with them installed in South Africa - LRA / Dealer then takes then out due to ADR's.

Rear seating options for a 90

LRA probably send them back to Sth Africia for a refund on stock transfer, so they can't get to the Aust market as it may upset Mr.Jeep and Mr Rav 4 GADS 8O A Landrover 90 with 4 seats 8O :x they might become popular and we wouldn't sell gadzillions of INFERIOR 4x4s 8O
