    That bl**dy buzzer

    Hi
    A minor thing that im sure someone out there could help with.
    Im well pleased with my Land rover and all its bits but.........i am now sick of that silly buzzer that tells you the keys are in the ignition and the door is open. its driving me nuts i cant locate the buzzer under the dash. theres got to be awire i can cut. im keen to cut the lot but im sure some of them do some thing good. so which one is the right sucker??

    I agree JGD, it is extremely annoying but i have not bothered to try an eliminate the sound as the buzzer also warns you when you leave your lights on, and I would rather put up with the buzzer than leave my lights on. This is assuming that both buzzing sounds come from the some location, the headlights warning buzzer buzzes a bit quicker. If anyone knows of a way to eliminate the key buzzer sound but not the headlight warning buzzer I would most definietly be interested to know. Matt

    I have the opposite problem, mine doesn't work and i want to find out how to fix it for the headlights.

    why not kill the buzzer and run the signal wire to the headlight relay
    through an ignition feed? this way the lights will only work with the ignition on. your lights will switch off when you turn the ignition off.

    just a thought.....
