    coils from lr automotive

    Wondering if anyone could assist me with their number system for rating there coils.
    Most places say standard height, raised height, light duty, heavy duty, medium duty. However lr automotive rate their could with numbers eg. 138/16 or 270/16.8 my guess is maybe thickness of material in mm used and number of coils.
    So if that's the case I guess higher first number thicker material and therefore more heavy duty.
    But other than that I am at a slight lose.
    And before you tell me to contact them I have emailed them but I may able get a faster response from the forum

    Ring Andrew at LRA.
    270 = pounds per inch (I think)
    16.8 = free length in inches

    I've emailed them before and never received an answer, so it's best to call them.

    Much better range of springs than the usual 'standard' or 'heavy duty' springs you are limited to elsewhere.
