Thats the right bloke, i dunno if he comes here - you might be able to find him on the LROC site
Mick
Does anyone know who owned the black Defender 90 at the LRO Expo at Penrith?
I think the owner may work in alloy products - I think it was he who had a lot of stuff for sale including low cost wing protectors. I think he made all the alloy work on the Defender 110 which had, if I recall, a 2.8 PowerStroke engine.
He might have been the one that had the sign bagging the Zeus timing gears.
(All the extra details above to prod your collective memories).

The bloke you are referring to is the owner of a heavily modified D130 with a camper conversion, the 2.8 PowerStroke engine and some serious aluminium work. He owns an Aluminium Engineering business in Brookvale on the Northern Beaches. I've been to his shop .. bought a set of alum wingtop protectors for $90. I'm not sure if he was also the owner of the D90 .. but if this sounds like the bloke you are looking for .. I can pop around there and get a business card for you?
yes the driver of the Black D90 is a mate of Ken's.

Is he a mate of Ken Wright's? Did he own Land Rover Toys (or similar name) at/near Brookvale a couple of years ago?
That was a nice looking D90.
Ron
Yep, he ran/owned a LR workshop at Brookvale!!!
I think you know who he is!!!
Ken, from Ali Engineering, and Tony, Yellow Mid 1990's D90, are mates of his.
I don't know if he would like me to put his name on here, but email me and we can chat.

at $90 for wing tops i think there would be quite a few people interested
(myself included) what else does he got and is he selling them or was
it just a one of for himself?
He could well be a good candidate for "Recomended Suppliers"
