Welch/Core/Freeze Plugs
Hey guys,
I'm ripping the 4.6 out to do all the Welch/Core/Freeze plugs (whatever they are called) in my Rangie.
I'm looking to get a few with my Island 4X4 order but they are very vague with part numbers and info.
I know they are 1 1/2", but I have no part numbers to go off.
Any recommendations on what material they should be made from? I had steel ones previously that rusted out, replaced with brass ones which I'm told does not react well with my red coolant. Is there an aluminum alternative?
Cheers
Keithy

Pretty sure the part number is 602152 Keith. No idea about what is the best material for them to be made from though.

I would think aluminium would be the best since the block is made of alloy
