			Diff-Lock

					G'day,
flew back to work last Wednesday and forgot to measure the shaft diameter and thread pitch on my County diff-lock lever.
Can someone out there help me out with this info so I can have a new and stronger insert made for the gear knob.
Thanks
Maggsie

If the problem is that the knob won't stay on because the thread is stripped here is a cheap and easy solution that worked for me. Get a small piece (about 1 inch) of PVC garden irrigation pipe. Clean out the inside of the gear knob with turps and a rag, glue the irrigation pipe in with contact adhesive, wait untill it sets properly (leave it overnight) and self tap it on to the gear knob. It will be a real tight fit.
