    Disco Sunroofs

    I tried this in the General Forum,, and got pretty much what I deserved,,
    So I'll ask here,,

    Does anybody know the whys and wherefores of sunroofs in Disco's??

    Why some have one, two or none?

    Does EVERY Disco sold in England have two?

    Hi Pedro,
    I think I answered your thread in the "General" forum.
    The very first Discos had, to the best of my knowledge, just one sunroof (tilt only) above the front seats, that soon became the common two sunroofs (tilt and slide) seen ever since. These were an option at extra cost, choice of manual and electrical powered available. Any other Disco with a single sunroof will probably have an aftermarket fit.

    They are a great thing to have over there in somewhat more temperate regions but here in Oz I definitely don't need one.

    No in the UK we have the same , some with 1 some with 2 and some with none.
    It is said in the uk that you buy one with 1 or 2 sun roof s, depends on how many showers you want in your disco. I have always bought Disco's with no sunroofs, as they always leak

    The spec of the truck manly decided how many sunroofs it had.

    50 Series 1 80

    To be honest with you mates, the sunroofs are about the only spot on my Disco that haven't had a leak so far!
