Replacing D2 upper ball joints - can I use a free stand press
Hi Folks
I've read all past posts on ball joint removal and managed to replace the lowers a few years back with a lot of grief save to say the upper rubbers have now gone.
Because I already have one shed and hoist, I was wondering if I just remove the diff and housing out of car and then am I able to use a free stand 12tonne press with plates etc
I know its more removal work but the free stand press part should be straight forward then.
Would this be right to go fourth and remove the housing?
