Think she'll be a bit deadly in the wet or loads of fun depending on how you drive. "Very street sleeperish" and like the retention of the snorkel. Very "innocent" looking.
Least you won't break the gearbox blowing off the backward cap brigade.
Thats one neat looking "STOCK" Fender.Just imagine the looks on the faces of clowns in tojos and ****ants when they get well and truely hosed in the old traffic light GP.

That's one great Fender Ute
Except the awkward placement of the Auto selector, but then it has to go somewhere....
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Would tidy up with a bit of custom sheet steel fab over the tunnel if you're that particular.
Any place for a shifter other than on the "tree" is a good spot.
This is one of the reasons why I want to fab up a new tunnel for my D100, so I can place the auto shifter in a nice place and relocate the handbrake to the tunnel also.
I'm sure it can be easily done.

Do those Landy auto shifters work on a push/pull cable ????????????
If so you can use a longer cable from an outboard motor(I think they call them MORSE cables), then the Tbar shifter can be located higher, even on the dash alongside the steering wheel.

Could make some more room for switchgear while you're at it. Difflocks, compressors etc. A profucion of switches is good. The more it confuses your passengers, the better Originally posted by LRHybrid100
