After having a heater hose rub against the sharp edge of my Disco 300tdi rocker cover and have water pouring out of the hole, I fitting a new Range Rover radiator cap with level sensor and alarm circuit.
All new radiator hoses, but I had very slow leaks, more like weeping. Always tightened hose clamps. At least the level sensor worked when the water level dropped too low.
The cap had a Land Rover, VDO and Made in Spain on the top of it, but no pressure value.
Tested the pop of pressure of the cap; 26 PSI. A Land Rover spares parts supplier ordered in a cap with no markings; it popped off at 22 PSI.
The standard black cap for the Disco was 16 PSI.
The RR spec is 15 PSI
