No they are not a scam. They are genuine. I have dealt with BBS and their products rate highly, although technical support is by forum. This can be frustrating and some members of the support team can be "prickly"
Im still waitng for resolution of a software issue more than 12 months

Sweet thank guys for your help and comments. Do you find the nano really good to play with and use? Also has anyone removed the factory limit settings and what are they?..

I used mine yesterday to try to find a prob I have but no faults came up. That's great but I've still got the prob!!!!
The only limit I saw was for speed which is 140kph and I thought it could be upped if you wanted to with the Nanocom. Not for me though, that;s quite fast enough with this thing.
Seems like a good easy to use unit.

AlanH, you sound similar to me... Have a small intermittence issue and was looking to see if it brought any code/s up as had a couple other things with the abs when off road once. Hence why I'm looking at getting one just for curiosity sake..

The speed shouldn't be limited to 140kmh. I've mine at a little over 160km/h. Interestingly the top speed is pretty much the same when standard or chipped and intercooled.
    Cheers
